The Harvey County Planning, Zoning and Environmental Department provides timely, courteous and knowledgeable advice and assistance to the citizens, planning commission and governing body of Harvey County in regard to land use related matters, while at the same time enforcing compliance with applicable regulations.
The department is responsible for administering floodplain regulations, enforcing zoning and subdivision regulations, reviewing proposed subdivision regulations, issuing building permits and helping the public with inquiries in regard to land use matters.
