The Harvey County Health Department accepts several forms of payment for services and programs.
Along with cash or check, the Health Department also accepts debit cards, credit cards and health cards - with no additional surcharges for the payer.
We also accept most private and state insurances, including Medicare, Medicaid and KanCare.
A sliding fee scale is available for most services if the patient does not have insurance coverage. Fees are based on family size and income. The patient or caretaker will need to provide information regarding proof of income requirements when checking in for their appointment.
No one will be refused services due to inability to pay, with the exception of adult vaccines. Adult vaccines must be paid by personal payment if not covered by another payment source.
