The Harvey County Commission is a three-person, elected board that represents districts within the county. Commissioners serve four-year terms.
The commission holds a weekly meeting on Tuesdays at 9 a.m., unless otherwise noted in the weekly agenda. Meetings are held in the community room on the basement level of the Harvey County Courthouse, located at 800 N. Main St. in Newton. Meetings can be viewed online through the Zoom meeting platform.
Commission meetings provide commissioners the opportunity to hear feedback from the public, vote on and direct policy decisions, determine the county's annual budget, discuss long-range planning for the county and manage county property.
