The opportunity to lead an invocation at each meeting welcomes all individuals, regardless of denomination or faith. No prayer shared at the meeting should proselytize, denigrate others, threaten or attempt to convert. The prayer is a means to voluntarily provide each individual respectful reflection upon their beliefs prior to business. Participation is not required from any attendee.
