The Kansas Women, Infants and Children program can help provide your family a nutritious start to life. Harvey County's local WIC office is part of the Harvey County Health Department.

For individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding or have children under 5 years old, you may qualify to receive education about nutrition, as well as fruits, vegetables, milk, eggs, peanut butter, whole grains and formula. We also have a breastfeeding peer counselor available to support mothers who want to breastfeed, or we can assist with formula for mothers that choose not to breastfeed for any reason. Our goal is to help your family.

Please call us at 316-283-1637 for more information or to see if you qualify for the benefits of the WIC program. We can conduct appointments in person or by phone. Many Kansans that qualify have not yet utilized WIC resources. A household of four people making less than $55,500 annually can qualify.
