Mission Statement

The mission of the Harvey County Road and Bridge Department is to provide a systematic approach to the maintenance of Harvey County roads and bridges along with lending support to townships and cities in our county. This is accomplished by:

• Developing work programs, both short and long term
• Budgeting and allocating resources for employees, equipment and maintenance
• Scheduling work for routine, planned and emergency projects
• Reporting and evaluating performance and cost

These criteria enable us to obtain the best service or product possible, in consideration of employee and public safety, without sacrificing quality or fiscal responsibility.
