Dental Fluoride Varnish

A protective coating to help prevent cavities is painted directly onto the teeth

Fluoride varnish reduces early childhood cavities and is safe for babies to school age children. The Health Department visits local elementary schools two times per year and provides free oral health education and fluoride varnish to students who have received parental permission. Dental screenings and fluoride varnish is also available by appointment for all ages at the health department. Call for an appointment.
