Meet
the Clerical Staff!
| Trisha
Markus has worked at the health department since November
of 1999. She checks in patients, completes Billing Clerk
responsibilities, is the Kansas Integrated Public Health
Systems (KIPHS) Administrator and the Immunization Action
Program Clerk. She received her Associates of Arts from
Hutchinson Community College and received most of her
job specific training at clinics and training seminars. |

Marsha
Thiesen started working at the health department in
September of 1990. She is responsible for the Front
Desk Check-In and Immunization Reports. She completes
data entry and record keeping for the Women, Infants
and Children (WIC) Nutrition program and the Mother
and Infants Program. She also ensures that office supplies
are ordered on time. Marsha received training at Wichita
Business College. |
| Alpa
Patel joined the Harvey County Health Department in
March of 2008. She brings Spanish and Gujarati (an Indian
language) translation skills to her position as Medical
Records Clerk. Alpa received computer training at Rockwell
Community College in Rockwell, Texas. She brings previous
office experience in clerking, billing and translation
in the hospitality industry in Kentucky. |
