SHALL
THE FOLLOWING BE ADOPTED?
Shall
Unified School District No. 373, Harvey County, Kansas (Newton),
issue general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed
$29,910,000 to pay the costs to: (i) construct, furnish
and equip additions and make renovations to portions of
the existing Newton High School and Newton High School Vocational
Buildings; (ii) construct, furnish and equip a new vocational
building to be located at the Newton High School site; (iii)
construct, furnish and equip additions and make renovations
to portions of the existing Santa Fe Middle School; (iv)
construct, furnish and equip additions and make renovations
to portions of the existing Chisholm Middle School; (v)
construct, furnish and equip an addition and make improvements
to the existing Northridge Elementary School; (vi) construct,
furnish and equip an addition and make improvements to the
existing Educational Technology Center; (vii) construct
and equip an addition and make improvements to the existing
Cooper Early Education Center; and (viii) make all other
necessary improvements appurtenant thereto; all pursuant
to the provisions of K.S.A. 10-101 et seq.; K.S.A.
25-431 et seq.; K.S.A. 25-2018(f); K.S.A. 72-6761;
and K.S.A. 75-2315 et seq.?
